Our family cannot recommend Ana highly enough for her tour of Teotihuacan! Not only does she have a master's degree in Mayan culture, in addition to having done an internship at Teotihuacan itself, but also she has 10 years of tour guide experience. We also really appreciated her indigenous perspective when it came to contextualizing the ruins in the colonialist and imperialist forces that have affected Mexico since Spanish conquest. This all led to an in-depth and highly educational tour of the Teotihuacan archeological site (i.e., answering every question we posed, but not being afraid to say "I don't know" when there was insufficient evidence for a finding). Our only regret was not booking her for more tours, like for the National Anthropology museum!

Ana is a truly excellent and generous guide, with a great knowledge of her archeology subject. We had a fascinating
tour of Teotihuacan with her and enjoyed all her insightful explanations and stories, with her appropriate concern for also sharing what is not known about this amazing site, since so much has yet to be excavated. The tour ended with a lunch at the wonderful El Gruta cavernous restaurant - a spectacle in itself. We would unconditionally recommend Ana for any tour in Mexico City.

Ana is amazing! First, she was very flexible in creating a custom food tour in La Condesa and Roma. She had great
suggestions and was very open to our requests - both in the advanced planning and on the fly during the tour. She knows the neighborhood like the back of her hand! She took us to special “local” food and drink spots and told interesting stories about the architecture and history in between. She is articulate and easy to understand (we had Spanish and English speakers in our group). She and her co-host both have delightful personalities and were fun and engaging to chat with as we walked through the neighborhoods. Highly recommend!
